Without a doubt, a capella sextet ManSound from Kiev, Ukraine, is the most interesting Ukraine vocal ensemble around. Their popularity has already spread outside of Ukraine and is still growing. ManSound's universality derives from its precise sound and ample use of various musical styles in their works.

The group has a powerful and fine-tuned ensemble sound. Their six voices singing together are like one unique instrument, and at the same time, each one of the group members can perform well as a soloist. ManSound has proven its excellence in singing gospels, jazz and pop music, and now they present something that makes them positively different from other Ukrainian and foreign male vocal groups.

ManSound

ManSoundOn this disc you will find ManSound's vision and contemporary interpretation of Ukrainian and Russian folk music. Ukrainian and Russian folk songs are melodic and very beautiful. in these songs you will find a history of each nation, their heart and soul. While performing Ukrainian and Russian music, Mansound gives up conventional rules, but yet they keep each melody's best qualities and also add fresh, new sound interpretations.

The selection of songs for the group's repertoire is not random. ManSound's goal was to choose songs that would introduce listeners to their foreign countries. The purpose of this album is to let you experience the Slavic spirit. On the other hand, Frederik Chopin said, 'Music has no nationality. That is probably why its language can be understood by anyone'.
Enjoy the great music that ManSound has performed for you.
