В джазе - это проявление внутреннего «Я» исполнителя, хотя баллады бывают философскими и легкомысленными, страстными и подчеркнуто холодными. Однако всем балладам, собранным на этом диске, присуще неповторимое и оригинальное настроение джазовых музыкантов Украины, России, Польши и Эстонии. Все без исключения записи сделаны во время концертов в Киеве и по сути являются музыкальными документами настроения исполнителей. «Скажи мне, как ты играешь балладу, и я скажу тебе, кто ты» - любят шутить музыканты и журналисты из джаза. Jazz and lyrics... Usually this word combination is associated with the word "Ballad". Ballad in jazz is a revelation of the performer's inner world. There are philosophical and light-minded, passionate and reserved ballads. However, all ballads on this CD present unique and original moods of the jazz musicians of Ukraine, Russia, Poland and Estonia. Every recording on the CD was made during the live performances in Kiev and in itself is a music testament of the performer's mood.
